I am delighted with the work carried out by Manor Developments to my house in Laverstock. Indeed, friends and neighbours passing by frequently stop to congratulate me on what a success the recent renovation and extension of my house has been, so I get a lot of credit for the excellent work carried out by Andrew Walker of Manor Developments.
My architect , Louise Rendall, set quite a challenging task by her radical design for the refurbishment which involved moving stairs and leaving no internal wall in its original position. She and I were pleased that Andrew accepted the challenge, because I had admired work he had done to other houses in the village which he had built or renovated.
Andrew’s skill and experience was apparent from the start of what could have been a stressful time for me, so much was invested, but with patience and good humour he advised and guided me through the many decisions I had to make along the way. His attention to detail and artistic eye for what would function and look good, and his own high standard are apparent in the finishing, inside and out. I love my house. I’ll be here for a long time.
